About Us
Why we built FurtherStride
FurtherStride started with a simple question:
How can students know what they actually need to work on next?
Students have access to more practice problems, books, videos, and online resources than ever. But having more material doesn't necessarily make it easier to learn. It can still be difficult to tell which skills are strong, which need work, and where limited study time will make the biggest difference.
We built FurtherStride to help solve that problem.
FurtherStride looks at a student's work over time to build a clearer picture of their strengths and gaps. It then helps turn that understanding into focused practice—so students aren't simply doing more problems, but working with a purpose.
We're starting with competition math, including AMC 8, AMC 10, and AMC 12, and we're building FurtherStride with a broader goal in mind: helping students become more confident and independent learners across subjects.
What we believe
Every student starts somewhere different.
Learning should adapt to what a student already knows, not assume everyone needs the same path.
Practice should have a purpose.
Students should understand what they're working on and why it matters.
Progress should be understandable.
A score is useful, but students deserve to know what's behind it—the skills they've demonstrated and the areas they can improve.
Technology should support learning, not get in its way.
We use software, data, and AI to make learning more focused while keeping the experience clear and student-centered.
We're building FurtherStride to give students a better answer to one of the most important questions in learning:
What should I work on next?
